Canin scabies is the biological term for Sarcoptic Mange that affects puppies and dogs.
This is basically a disease causing parasite scientifically termed as sarcoptes scabiei. The parasites are so small that they are visible very tiny even when viewed through a microscope. On contact with the layer of a dog's skin it can lead to many issues like hair loss, red patches on skins, irritation with itching etc.
Sarcoptes scabiei have a short life span thereby can be cured without much difficulty though found on many other animals and rarely influence human beings but primarily affecting only dogs.

- Sarcoptic mange's best cure is permethrin cream 5%, with a one time application of it would help in healing.
- It needs to be applied on to the body continuously for 15 hours.
- Another effective remedy is Malathion that needs to be on for 24 hours.
- For those who have no cure with Permethrin 5% , Lindane ointment can be recommended. To get the much relief from the itching sensation Crotamiton is a effective ointment.
